My Husband and I hired "Billie Jo and the Distractions" for our outdoor wedding reception. Billie Jo was very patient with Greg and I and walked us through the first dance, the ceremony music, the arrival of the bride & groom etc. She really put our minds at ease when we were stressed to the max. She is very organized and is able to walk you through all sorts of possibilities. She also made sure that her band learned the song that my husband wanted as a first dance song. Our guests never left the dance floor during the evening event. All age groups were out there and we received many complements, both during and after the reception about how good the band was.
As a matter of fact, my new husband and I e-mailed a bunch of the folks about the band playing nearby months later and we had a huge reception to go see them again and re-live the wedding! You can't go wrong with "Billie Jo and the Distractions"!

Billie Jo and The Distractions" provided A+ entertainment for my husband's 50th birthday party. They rocked the party, much to the enjoyment of our guests, who ranged in age from toddlers (who got to play the band's tambourines) to teens (who were impressed by the musicians) to adults (who are still talking about the party). The music was VERY professional -- the sound was great!
The band prepared two additional songs at my request: our wedding song, and a song for my children and I to sing. They did this happily and cheered us on in our special moments. They were so friendly, and added such a fun atmosphere to the event. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting an absolutely top-notch cover band.

Billie Jo is a wonderful person and easy to work with for making your event terrific. I highly recommend the band for any type event because they will handle all your needs with music of any type. The satisfaction of returning calls or emails is above any other business that I ever worked with in the past.
I had a surprise birthday party and never did they attempt to contact me during times that were going to cause problems in keeping the secret. Everyone enjoyed the band not only for the music they provided, but the interaction of the band and guests.
